The Camas High School JV Baseball team won their season opener against Goldendale, 4-0. The Papermaker pitching dominated the game Tuesday night as Drew Watson, Chase Gallagher and Sam Jones all played a precision game.
Sam Jones, Drew Watson, Carson Dunn and Aaron Eyler scored for the Papermakers. Johnnie Beets and Nick Murawski each had one RBI.
“Superb pitching and some great hitting won the night,” said Varsity Head Coach Joe Hallead. “They played a clean game.”
The 7-inning game was finished in 90 minutes so both teams agreed to a second, unofficial game. The Papermakers won that game, as well.
