Camas High Baseball Falls to Skyview Monday
The Camas High School Varsity baseball team lost 8-3 yesterday to Skyview. Dylan White hit a 3-run homerun to give the team a brief lead in the 3rd inning. Nolan Hunt pitched four strong innings to keep the game close, but a three-run sixth inning by Skyview broke the game open.
The CHS JV team also played Skyview losing 5-0 as the Papermakers couldn’t regain momentum after an early game rally by their opponent. The boys made a real effort to score, but it wasn’t meant to be.
The Varsity Softball game against La Salle Prep didn’t happen, as they were a no-show. Papermaker Lena Richards said she and her team were ready to play, but La Salle simply didn’t come.
